First, you will book an Initial Exam with our healthcare provider. You blood will be drawn and a medical & behavioral assessment is begun to develop your treatment plan. The program book is presented while we go over the nutrition, meal plans and recipes with you. Your medications (if you desire an appetite suppressant) will be chosen during this appointment.
Immediately after your exam, you may choose a package below.
The cost is $135 and this is a one time fee only.
We do not accept health insurance.
We accept South Carolina patients only for in-office & Telehealth
What sets us apart & makes us voted BEST WEIGHT LOSS CLINIC by The Best of Berkeley Contest every year? We provide a comprehensive, medically supervised program providing ongoing nutrition education, counseling and our patients get larger doses of medicine. We do not keep patients on a low dose. Our pharmacy provides the best quality GLP-1 Peptides, and you get your entire vial. You do not have to come to our office each week to get a pre-filled syringe of low doses. This is why New You patients see results similar to those who have undergone bariatric surgery.
We provide top-notch healthcare services to help you achieve optimal wellness & weight loss. Our team of experts is here to meet all your medical needs. Included in each package you will receive our exclusive weight loss manual complete with food shopping lists, recipes, behavior & nutrition education & more.
In addition to the basic $129 per month package above, you may purchase GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide, through our partnered compounding pharmacy. Medication prices may vary.
Our staff will help you make your selections.
We offer several different appetite suppressants based on health history and patient requests to our patients that have completed the Initial Exam and are a currently enrolled patient. It is not possible to simply buy Semaglutide without seeing a licensed NP, PA, or MD. For injection patients, you will receive your injection during your weekly weigh in. All medication is shipped to your home, simply bring in if you need help drawing it into syringes or administering the shot. Our clinicians will also review your weekly food log, check your progress and discuss your nutrition needs and habits during each visit. We also have a personal trainer at an additional fee, just ask.

No. We understand a busy lifestyle. We do encourage the weekly weigh in for accountability and support. But if you can't make it, that is fine. You can take your B12+MIC shots home with you.
Yes, you will pay $129 each month you are on the program unless you are purchasing a package which already has this fee included. . Additional costs for RX appetite suppressants (semaglutide, phentermine, etc) are paid to the pharmacy and vary as described above.
You can bring your semaglutide glass vial & syringes to us & we will do it for you; or follow the instructions on the prescription box that the vial comes in carefully. Please do not replace the plunger cap the pushes the medicine out. Only put the needle cap back on until ready for use, store in refrigerator.
Your choice! Our staff can show you how to self administer semaglutide or B12 shots for home use, or our nurse will administer your injection for you during your weekly weigh in. Please remember to bring your injectible with you.
We do not accept health insurance, but we gladly accept payment through cash/check/card/Care Credit.
After your payment for medication is made, the pharmacy will send you an email with tracking. Turnaround time is 7-10 business days. (weekends & holidays do not count towards the 7-10 business days). All orders are shipped overnight, once filled, and packed on ice. If the ice has melted, the medicine is fine for 36 hours. Please keep refrigerated once received.
Instructions for drawing the medicine into the syringe are written on the prescription box. It appears to be a very small amount of liquid, Be advised it is concentrated and there is more than enough to fill your doses. We prefer patients to bring the unopened box so our nurse can verify your medication has been shipped correctly and will draw it up for you.
Since some people build a tolerance, you may need to increase to a higher dose. If a low dose is remaining effective, you can continue using a low dose. Our practitioner will discuss this in more detail during your visits.
Some people do experience mild nausea, constipation, bloating, gas, or diarrhea while most do not. If you have nausea, it will subside as your body becomes used to the medicine. The B12 Lipo shots help. Our provider may prescribe Zofran if you need it. Miralax, Tums, Immodium and other over the counter medications can be used to relieve temporary side effects.
No. But you may use our highly effective nutrition plan, b12 + lipo shots and Numetra protein meal replacements.
Not if you are already taking Ozempic, Rybelsus, Metformin, Victoza, Saxenda or any other GLP-1 medication since those are also the same drugs.
3 months. Phentermine is a stimulant and may become habit forming. Long term use is not recommended. Please read the pharmacy insert.
B12+MIC Lipo shots are all the B vitamins plus amino acids to help burn & expel fat, not an appetite suppressant. Semaglutide is a prescription GLP-1 peptide that suppresses appetite, lowers glucagen (blood sugar), and increases pancreatic function. Also causes a feeling of fullness & slows gastric emptying. Semaglutide is also sold under brand name Wegovy for obesity; Ozempic & Rybelusus are the same but for Type 2 diabetics.
Our provider may prescribe prescription medications to assist you in appetite control and glucagen reduction. Medications such as phentermine, buproprion/naltrexone, semaglutide are just a few. The medication we use most frequently is a once weekly injectable glucagon-like peptide receptor agonist (GLP-1) from the compounding pharmacy made to mimic semaglutide. Studies have shown Semaglutide to reduce body weight as much as 15.6% and has been hailed "the game changer" for treatment of obesity. Please read the download below for more information about this amazing medication!
We will go into detail on this during your appointment. Because the dosing starts small and titrates upward as you progress, the vials may vary in duration of treatment.
We ALWAYS attempt to get the most cost effective route for you. If we can get a medication covered with a little extra leg work, we are more than willing to go the extra mile. The commercially available injectable medications I most commonly use typically end up being $25-$60/month if covered well by insurance. Even if not covered by insurance, these commercially available medications (like Wegovy or Saxenda) are certainly available options but the cost is expensive, please check with your pharmacy. The generic semaglutide from our partnered compounding pharmacy costs are far less making the medication affordable.
Compounded glucagon like peptide receptor agonist modeled after semaglutide is our most popular option. Dosing starts at 0.25mg once weekly and increases periodically up to an average dose of 1 - 1.5 mg once weekly, and some patients continue therapy up to 2.5mg.
